Slave Island nominated for Ensors 2026

The Belgian Ensor Academy proudly released this year's nominees. Slave Island got nominated in the category for 'Best Documentary Film' after passing the first voting of the professional jury. The second voting will be held from January 6th until January 27th. In this period, the members of the Ensor Academy decide on their winners.

The winner will be announced on February 7th during The Gala of The Ensors, on the final, celebratory night of The Ostend Film Festival. This year, The Gala will be open to the public.
